What is this are you asking? Well, Gpants or GDiapers are a diaper "alternative"...a mix between disposables and cloth. They sound super interesting. A little pricey (although I haven't done the math as compared to reg. disposables), very cute looking, and incredibly good for the environment...and for your babes bumm apparently. I know that there are many out there who are preggo, or who know someone that is and if you are into all that environmental mumbo jumbo :-)...these might interest you. Basically, diapers take about 500 years to break down in the land fills...that's a very long time. These "inserts" only take about 50-100 days I think. Very cool! Anyways, if you are curious check it out!

wow! i'll have to do the math on that one. they are super cute. i'm considering using cloth this time around. yikes! it seems like soooo much work!
Yeah, cloth seems like a ton of work! Over all, it seems like they are "comparable" in price. Once you get past the initial spending for the "pants", if you buy the more pricey disposable diapers...the differece may not be too dramatic. If you take into account your "enviromental footprint" and how much it decreases from using them, it seems close to worth it. Especially, if your baby really doesn't get diaper rash from them, AND they are pretty much the CUTEST diapers I have ever seen. All you need to do is throw a matching t-shirt on your kid and they will be stylin'!
Hey Anna! I love your blog by the way.. not sure who's I found it through, but I blogstalk. :) gDiapers are awesome! I can't wait to start using them with the little one once he gets here.. 8 more weeks! Thanks for posting this and sharing with other Mommies, and Mommies-to-be! Besides being cute, and enviornmentally friendly, they are WAY better for the baby's bum... minimizes diaper rash!
i love that you're posting about diapers. you are way ahead of the game! i'll have to check 'em out. my mom used cloth diapers with me...how did she survive? it seems like so much work!
